Clean your air filter to avoid further damage, stop using it until, or you're looking at quite an expensive fix of the light engine, what you see now is permanent and will grow as the lends burns further,,

What causes my aspect to constantly change? My tv or my cable box?

It could be both.

If you set your TV to Auto, then it will try to 'best guess' the correct picture shape based on what's displayed on screen. That's okay in the lab, but in the real world where there's too much changing then it's not so good.

The other thing could be the box and the TV channel you happen to be watching. If you have the box's aspect ratio set wrong i.e. to a different picture shape to the TV, then it will squash or stretch pictures.

Set your box to match the TV shape. The two main choices are Widescreen (16:9) or the old picture shape 4:3

Set your TV on a fixed aspect ratio: Either Widescreen if it is a 16:9 set, or Normal if it is a 4:3 set.

Computer won't boot beyound splash screen

A couple of things to try

a) in the bios reset the settings back to default settings ( usually last tab )
b) Start the pc and press f8 constantly, choose safe mode
c) make sure nothing is plugged in the floppy or usb

This is most likely the way to start the pc

Any other issues then I would start making sure everything is plugged in and the OS is not corrupt

Blue color appears pinkinsh/now stripes and smudging

Are you using third party ink? make sure your ink is xerox OEM. This will clogg up the inkjets and ruin the print head for ever, If you have always used the third party ink then you might want to get a new print head. . If you have used xerox ink then It sounds like the magenta reservoir has spilled over the cyan. This is caused by moving the printer and not waiting for the cool down procedure. Also you might want to change the print head wiper. If the print head wiper is over used it won't clean the print head properly and what that causes is for ink to build up and causes smudge. also make sure the drum maintance kit is still in good shape. (its the yellow roller on the right side of the printer. Well hopefully this helps .
