Question about GE GSH25JFR Side by Side Refrigerator
Our GE 25.2 frost free side by side, Model TFT25 JR, about 8 years old, for the past couple of years has been puddling water on the floor in the left front corner under the freezer door. There is also a build up of ice on the floor of the freezer. In addition, the motor never quits running. I'm sure the 2 are related what do you diagnose as the problem and is it something I can fix myself?
EASY FIX!!! The drain is clogged up. All you have to do is take the back wall to the freezer off (lower section in freezer) And you will see another layer of frozen ice at the bottom (behind back wall). Get you a hair dryer and start melting. After a few minutes u will start to see a drain whole(size of a nickle in middle) concentrate you efforts on the drain hole. Now get some wire or something and stick down in hole, then pull out over and over till finally it drains all the build up water around the hole! GOODLUCK!!!
