This is a safety feature that comes turned on by default. While you are driving, you cannot enter new directions/information as it is unsafe to do so. The unit normally asks you if you want to override this at the time, but you can also turn it off while stopped by pressing the icon at the bottom of the screen that looks like a wrench. Then press "System" at the top middle of the unit. Where it says "Safe Mode" press the "On" key. At the next screen, press "Off." The unit will now allow you to enter information while it is in motion.

Flasher location relay

On a 1993 olds ciera, the flasher unit for the T/S is clipped to the ashtray mount bracket. Remove the ashtray and the flasher will be on the passenger side of the bracket. The emergency flasher unit is located to the right of the glove box when facing the box. It is hidden behind the Multi -fuction alarm module.

I have a 2001 Oldmobile Intrique and as of late the turn signals don't work properly. Sometimes they will function but now they simply don't come on or work only during the first turn and then...

I would guess that the turn signal switch is worn out

You said they work some times,so the flasher is good

You need a repair shop i assume

Want to turn off the annoying beeping sound every time i push a button on the unit, remote or adjust the volume

Turn the unit off by pressing and holding the volume button till it powers down (NOT VIA THE IGNITION SWITCH!) Once off, press and hold the fuction button (located in the top left hand corner near the volume dial) until unit lights up again and a menu appears, near the end of that menu you can change the beep noises to off like volume or when ignition is off but unfortunatly you cannot change the beep for changing track.

My quickie motorized wheelchair is making a loud buzzing sound when turned on, but I can still move around, Checked for moisture, dried with hair dryer. Is it the horn Can I disconnect? How? What else can...

Honestly I don't know if I can solve this problem, but, when do you get the buzzing sound, when your in motion? (in other words moving) what brand do you have? It shouldn't be making the noise unless you have the QLogic Controller that can make beeps when you move to a fuction... Let me know more...
