SOURCE: How to remove the carburator from the Ryobi SS30

It may just need a G & D kit installed. That is a gasket and diaghragm. Just take the 4 Torx screws out of the rear cover and remove it. You will then be looking at the choke plate assembly which has 2 long screws that go through the housing of the carb and screw into the rear crankcase cover/reed valve assembly. Pull the 2 fuel lines off (noting where they went) and you'll have it. Once you have the carb off, you can get the manufacturer and model # off of it and order a kit. The G&D kit will probably fix what ails it or you can go for a complete rebuild and get a rebuild kit. If the carb is a Zama or Walbro, they sell the kits on Ebay.If the carb has brittle diaghrams inside, replace them; if they are still soft and pliable, then you may only need to clean the carb real well and adjust the H and L mixture screws. They will be plainly marked, but are difficult to remove. Post back for more help!

Hi, Jeff orange wires are usually, but not always, power wires and the usual suspects are:
1. Fouled spark plugs.
2. Severely discharged or a damaged battery, should have 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
3. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
4. Loose connection at ignition coil or plug between ignition sensor and CDI box.
5. Spark plug cables in bad condition, shorting / leaking, spark plug cable connections loose, check for spark leakage in the dark.
6. Faulty ignition coil, pick up coil, trigger coil or CDI box testing needs to be checked with an ohmmeter at 70 degrees Fahrenheit
7. Faulty safety switches clutch, kickstand, neutral, off/on etc.
8. Faulty ignition switch.

The car star and the engine run , but every time i pud gas on the pedal the power go and slow dawn, it feel lake need more gas or more air , but i change the full bomb , filter , injector , air filter

Please do nott change any part without a proper diagonise. It is important that you do the periodical service in time and so the parts said above will be taken care of.
now the best thing to do is to get the fuel distribution, have the fuel pump calibrated , check on the sparks on all the plugs, if any oil smear or shortfall of fuel.
If bad change the plugs., the HT wires or the HT coils. please test and dont replace in one go.

Have a troy built TB575SS trimer. Pull cord has lost tension and cord is just fully hanging out. How do I I take unit apart to re-adjust cord tension?

The starter recoil spring may have possibly broke or the rope is hung up somewhere on or in the pulley. A lot of these units are assembled using Torx (Star) head screws and disassembly requires a couple different sizes to accomplish. Take your time...you will see the screw heads, but reloading a starter spring for a trimmer is a little tricky and you may need help doing so, but you can fix this yourself.

Coil bad or wire to coil bad. I tell everyone what Ill tell you, when it comes to small engines, troy bilt, poulan, weedeater brand all JUNK,JUNK JUNK! Theyre made cheap, not built to last, theyre throwaways. Carbs are made in china. If youre ever in walmart next time go back to the garden section and pick up a weedeater or poulan brand chainsaw or trimmer. Look at the package good and look at the factory life expactancy. Its not in months, not even days, but in hours. If I was you I would tell myself NO MORE! I would buy a dolmar or stihl, pay the extray, cause you wont be aggrevated in the long run. P.S. Dolmar offers a 100% coverage for ONE YEAR on all equipement.
