Question about Lands Phones
My GE cordless tech 6.0 phone, along with the other 3 units that they say will work with the mail phone. I've re-registered every phone. The ID will stay about 6 hrs and then stops working again. I've spoken to people where I bought it and they have no idea whats wrong. Any help will be appreciated.

Open this link; go to the FAQ's for an MD760/MD761 and it solved my similar problem for my phone. Primarily, you will be resetting your system (almost like rebooting) and if necessary, deregister and follow with registering. I did not have to do the last part (deregister), but it does work. Have your tech look again. A keyword search of CALLER ID in the pdf should explain it all, especially page 158 of a 6.1 CICS manual.
You need 2 things to make it work. One is that your phone has to be ringing. Two is that Under Telco Features in programming for your set is a CALLER ID set which is No by default.
Of course, FEAT 811/812 will work after the fact.
