Question about Apple iPod nano
I've tried the hold, then menu select maneuver several times. Then I tried restoring it. Still, it comes back on white, with a couple of beeps. Before this, the screen was filled with white lines. It was my first iPod and I'm not impressed.
This is problem a hardware, rather than software issue (e.g. physicaldamage) so its not something that can be fixed with a iPod 'restore'.
you have some choices at this point:
1) try and fix it yourself. this can be difficult but alot cheaper (if your good with directions, pick this)
go to ifixit.com
they have both the parts for the repair, as well as the instructions on how to do the repair itself.
2) send it off to apple to fix
this will be very expensive and slow, i don't recommend this.
3) sell it, and buy a new iPod.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
