Question about Intel D845GVSR Motherboard
1> Please provide details of ideal graphics card for Intel D845GVSR.
2>whether my motherboard will support it?
3> How PCI slot and AGP differ from each other?
4>Whether I have to buy any PCI slot for my mother Board.
I have Pentium 4 processor and 512 MB RAM.

There is no agp slot on this board . pci only. or onboard. fernleighcentre

That's a pretty old board. I would strongly consider buying something newer.
the PCI and AGP slots should already be on your motherboard and I don't know much about the differences between the two. I don't know much about Intel boards as I am an AMD guy myself. If you know your board has an AGP slot, buy an AGP card. They're cheaper, you will probably be fine with an ATI 9xxx series card if you can find one, or ATI X1xxx series. You can also look for GeForce6000/7000 series cards.
buy more memory if you can afford it as well. 512 is not enough.
