Question about Acer TravelMate 529TXV PC Notebook
I have an Acer Travelmate 529TXV that has an intermittent serial port connector. I would like to take it apart and fix the connector (probably needs pins resoldered).
I have removed everything that seems to come out, and all of the screws that are obvious. There is still something in the middle back that is holding the keyboard and the back together - I do not see any more screws. Is there some screws hiding under keycaps on the keyboard or is there some other hidden screws, or is it just double-back sticky taped together at this point?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

If you look very carefully - you should see 'something like' an H shaped piece of plastic that holds the key in place - this controls the position.
You need to prize the legs that meet with the key away from the centre (carefully) using 2off small jewel screw drivers (maybe 2 off paper clips)
