Question about Dell InspironTM 1501 Notebook
My dell laptop will not accept ac power, and the battery does not charge. it is not the charger or battery, they work in other units. currently, the only way to use the unit is to install a charged battery from another computer.
Hmmm, check out the port where you plug in the charger. Has the internal pin been bent or pushed in? I've seen that happen on other devices. If you have access to another charger try that ... it *may* have a slightly longer reach ... the manufacturing tolerances are tight .. but there may be a slight difference between units.
