Question about Nikon Coolpix S50 Digital Camera

1 Answer

When attempting to transfer photos it goes through the process of enumerating the photos but when I hit "transfer" it stays at 0% and nothing happens. Eventually I get an error message that says it lost the connection. This just started happening as I have successfully transferred photos many times.

Use your "System Restore" to go back to a day when the pictures were tranfering properly. "System Restore" is under the "ccontrol panel in the "System" section.

Please try deleting the drivers , then reloading.

It will look for the connection again, and hopefully find it this time.

Computer turns on but windows does not load after the page that says acer press f2 for setup screen goes black and lights stop flashing. Tried to start in safe mode still wont go just comes to screen that...

Well in the start up process this is really what happen the first couple second of the computer starting up...
the first couple seconds after hitting the power button it does a hardware check..
All hardware passed it proceeds to the software check the drivers and stuff...
if the computer comes to a black screen after start up, or any weird writings, then basically some hardware didn't pass the test and failed causing the start up to fail...
If thats the case i would recommend taking it into a local repair store or calling manufacturer if still under the standard 1 year warranty...
nothing to lose, but a welcome screen to gain, give it a shot...

GE photo phone. Phone works. Photo frame was blank. 0 pictures

Remove the battery, unplug the phone, wait 48 hours. That might fix it. Or just get a new phone, these are poor.

Nikon CoolPix P80 Transfer software does not activate.

I had a similar problem. I uploaded my Nikon transfer program with no problem, and first time had no problem loading photos. Second time the transfer prompter did not come up on the screen. My manual said something about having a fully charged battery. I tried re-charging my camera battery, and tried again. It worked! The program came up and my photos uploaded.

Photos not transferring from camera to the computer

Have you installed the software? For Kodak, go to this site:
http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=11467&pq-locale=en_US and download. Your camera screen might stay black during the installation process because you can't use it while transferring.
