Cable broke on hood release. It was having no issues and when it was last pulled it broke.

This is a tough one. you will probably have to get the car raised on a lift and look up in there to find the release and pull it with needle nose pliers. Before doing that, take apart the release handle inside the car and see if it is broken lose there. If it is, pull the cable with pliers. Good luck.

I have to repair my Schwinn airdyne bicycle. I cannot separate the lever that is on the crank which attaches to what handle. A piece broke off which makes the pedal wobble and I have the replacement gear...

I can only assume you are attempting to remove the crank from the bottom bracket. This sounds like an square taper bottom bracket.
As such you are more than likely going to need a "crank puller" which is a special tool that threads into the large threads in the end of the crank and will allow you to push the crank off the bottom bracket as you tighten the center bolt (on the crank puller tool)
If you have a gearing puller handy you can also make that work with a little fanangaling.

Truck f150 2003 5.4L turns but doesnt start....

sounds like the belt broke before you got home and it ripped the wires out of the crank sensor.
I would think the crank sensor is damaged and will need to be replaced.
won't start with a good one.

My son dropped the Hoover Floormate hard floor cleaner and a black piece with a spring came out. I dont know where it goes, and now the handle wont stay up.

From your description you have an issue with the pedal release in the base. this model is the original series, and I would not put too much money in the repair. not an easy cover to remove. check the base wheel assembly. the black pivot points break on these when dropped. If it is broke the part itself cost about $18. Cosider the overall performance and other repair items to determine worthwhile repair.
