Question about Craftsman 3 gal. Air Compressor, 1.5 hp, Horizontal k
The model is a ingersol rand 1952 .
this is a no valves / it has metal plates system with strips cut into them . which act as valves .
it is a twin piston compresser that sits on top of this tank.
my question is / how can i put the plates into the right position ie; upside down / other way up / please can you help.
That is what is called a reed valve, it only lets air go one way. If i remember correctly, the single finger will face up, so that the air can pump out from the piston into the tank
