Question about Televison & Video

Open Question

Could not find the Home Theater Model number KP53V45. The date on the back read May 1998. If it is not a V look for U. It was hard to read. I want to know how to better work it and make the picture good.

SOURCE: RCA Home Theater (Model #P46924) No Picture, just sound

Sounds like a possible solder issue with the vertical output IC. Try resoldering the Vertical output IC connections

I need to find firmware update for model sc-bt228. it wont play new blu-ray dvds.

The only firmware update available for the sc-bt228 is here: http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Audio/Home-Theater/Home-Theater-Systems/Drivers-Downloads/model.SC-BT228.D#ts . It is dated 9/27/2010 and is a Viera Cast Update.

If you do not end up at the right tab, make sure to click the Drivers and Downloads Tab.

I hope this helps.

One, can't find model number. Frankly, I need instruction manual to operator. 5ch changer. just need to start it. Lost owners manual.

You should find a sticker either at the back of the changer or on the bottom of it. You may also need the serial number that will probably be on that sticker also.

You can possibly find and read the manual on the web site of the maker.

Samsung Digital Home Theater System keeps shutting down not even a full minute after turning it on. What's the problem?

it means the home theater is over heating and the unit will shut down to prevent any damage. This can happen if the unit is stacked along with other electronic devices or the unit is in an enclosed area that prevents the unit from cooling properly. To decrease the chance of overheating, relocate your home theater to a more open area.

If the home theater display reads PROTECTION every time you turn it on, no matter where or how the unit is placed, it needs service. To set up service call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

The F61 indicates a problem detected in the output amp stage and the unit us shutdown to prevent further damage. If you can supply the model number, I can give you the part required and the approximate cost.

Panasonic Home Theater SC-HT80 "NO DISK"

The problem is that the DVD section is not working properly and can not detect the disk. Try a music CD. If that works, then the problem is either a dirty lens that is not allowing sufficient laser light through to read teh DVD or the optics are failing and need to be replaced. If you can post the model number, I can give you an estimate for the repair cost.
