Re: Monitor keeps flicking in and out

Make sure all the connections in the back of the monitor are connected properly. If all are and problem presists, it is probubly cheaper to buy a new one than to get it fixed.

Best of luck!

Acer screen keeps flicking on and off

Ok, that seems to be a problem with the monitor itself, which is most of the times. Try connecting the same computer to a different monitor. If you happen to have a laptop, try connecting it to an external monitor via video cable (such as vga or dvi connector). Good luck.

Adjust the pixels. Right click on desktop, properties, appearences, advanced and there should be a slide bar to adjust your pixels. Make them larger, ex. 1440X900 instead of 680X400

Benq 19" monitor not working every time when computer started

Check your connections and make sure they are tight, and there are no bent pins. If everything seems ok, you might want to try plugging this monitor into a different computer or plug a different
monitor into yours to determine whether it's the monitor, the video card, or maybe the driver (doubtful on this as you state it seems to be bad somethimes on boot).

Philips 170b 17" LCD Monitor

Does the screen go to the top of the page by any chance if so their is a possible cable problem that links your PC to your monitor, to repair this you must take it to a electrical repair shop, its quite a small job and your screen should be back up and running in no time, it happened to my packard bell monitor aswel and i managed to get it repaired.

Hope this answers ur question John.

Philips 170B lcd monitor

Crackling sounds are probably due to a couple of capacitors failing due to age, on the control board. (They can also "whine"). Should be easily replaceable by any experienced technician. Not a difficult job.
