You can't directly copy and paste the MP3 songs to the player to playback. Its uses ATRAC file format and not MP3. Its a very old player and requires Sonicstage software to transfer the songs. I have mentioned the link to download the software and steps to transfer the songs to the player.

I can charge my mp3 player but my computer dosn't read my usb ports,do you know why?

If your Computer can read other Devices such as USB Memory Sticks, that means that the the MP3 Player requires some drivers or needs some software. If your Computer cant read any USB Devices, then you need to install the USB Drivers for your computer.

I heard if you just disconnect the usb cable from the device, lock the device, press and hold the round middle button while you connect it back to the usb cable, it should appear.

USB Port and Creative MP3 player - wont play

Dragonclu your fix is very good if this was a computer unfortunately you did not read the problem correctly this is about a standalone stereo system NOT a computer or a computer program. Your problem maybe that your Creative MP3 player is registering as a portable media player which the stereo system does not support chech if theres an option in your MP3 Player to use USB Mass Storage which the stereo system will read and playback

Hope This Helps

Usb port

The USB port is for updates, I am not sure how to update the television? However it is my understanding that it doesn't read MP3 or other media players, However there are several DVD players that read media devices.

Ensure the key lock is not activated by sliding
"Power on/off ( )/Hold" towards the center
position. If your player isn’t already on, turn it on by
sliding "Power on/off ( )/Hold" to the left
and holding until the player turns on.

Mp3 player won't start

You need to check your MP3 Player on another PC. If it still have the problem then you must return it for a Firmware Update. When any kind of USB Devices plugged and couldn't continue the launch (boot) step. Then you have to be sure that the MP3 Player (Or USB Device): 1) Has a corrupted component. 2) Needs Firmware update (Know as Device BIOS Update).

There might be a problem with your USB cable, such as a broken wire, and not the MP3 player itself.
