My water doesn't get hot - Bloomfield 8572 Coffee Maker

My G20 hot water unit is not giving out hot water it’s been like this for a few days. There doesn’t seem to be a flame lit

Water heaters draw water into the bottom, and as the hot water heats, it rises and hot water exits from the top.
You might want to check each fixture, does the hot pipe (tubing)feel warm when you run it for a moment. Can you get warm water from some of the fixtures, but not others?
I'm bet there is a leak at the top of the intake which is filling from the top down, instead of bottom up.

What type water heater? Brand, type and model appear on label on side of unit.
Is this a gas or electric powered?
What exactly is happening? Water too hot. Water doesn't stay hot very long? No hot water?

You reinstalled the cartridge in the wrong position.you need to get parts break down from kohler web site and reinstall properly.

The dual water inlet valve cold side is just stopped up with sediment. There is a screen filter in the water hose where it connects to the water supply. Cut the water off and unscrew the hose and look in the end of it for the cone shaped filter and clean it out. If that doesn't fix the problem you may have to clean or replace the inlet valve which is at the other end of the hose. The hot water doesn't usually have a problem because any sediment has a chance to settle out in the hot water tank.

Maybe the hot water tank is so rusty. Run the water until it clears up. If it doesn't you may have to replace it.

Are you waiting long enough for the water to be totally heated, before showering? Unfortunately, all the water doesn't reach 60 degrees celsius (140 degrees fahrenheit) in a matter of minutes. Try switching to the hot water mode sooner and allow enough time for the system to heat up entirely. If that doesn't solve the problem, the burner may need cleaning,
