My YP-U2X displays all the files in the MP3 player display. But while it is connected to a PC/laptop as a USB, only some of the files are displayed. I have tried the Show hidden files option from the View menu of the browser, but still nothing happened. Do anyone know how to retrieve/display all the files in the USB.
Re: Not displaying all files while connected as a USb
Your MP3 player is virused. clean virus then and in your pc done : tools-Folder option -view-(mark)show hidden files.. and (unmark) hide extension ... , hide protected... so change hidden folders in your MP3 player

You would need to get it repaired by Samsung - not cheap. You could also buy another broken one on eBay with a working screen and switch it out that way. But no offense but you wouldn't be asking the question if you had the ability to do that.
You are going to have to replace the LCD of the player. The problem is because the the LCD and battery are placed close together. During charging, the battery gets heated up which can gradually cause damage to the Display.
don't think it's possible.
-when you charge and play via your laptop, the player is acting as a USB key and the laptop is doing the playing.
-when you charge it via your in-car port you do not have a 2nd device on which to play tunes.
it's either charge or play i'm afraid
