Question about Dell Dimension 2400 PC Desktop
Have you ran diags? sometimes its a faulty HDD and you need to replace it. run diags. press f12 while the system is booting up then choose utility partiton. check for error messages on HDD if you got like error 142,145,146 you need to replace your HDD dude

Most likely the computer itself, the mother board in the Dells aren't very good. I would suggest the next time you buy a computer you should get a Mac. You'll have no problems at all, and you'll find that Microsoft Office for Mac runs far better too.
