For some reason my phone somehow switched itself off on saturday. and it now will not switch back on. when i attempt to switch it on, i get as far as typing in the 4 digit pin number, at which point it automatically turns itself back off. once the screen goes blank, the words 'contact service' appear in black letters. this has never happened before and i'm not sure why its happened. the battery is fully charged so cannot be that at fault, please help?

check or have someone check your neutral safety switch by putting transmission in park, turn ignition switch to start, and move gear selector lever at same time. if engine starts while doing this test you need to adjust safety switch! If you have a manual trans make sure to push clutch pedal as far as possible while turning key!
The Ignition switch needs to bee adjusted properly. There is a rod that engages the switch, this rod is connected to the ignition lock cylinder or where you turn the key.. the ignition switch itself has two mounting bolts that connect it to the steering collum loosen these two bolts and slide the switch forward towards the steering wheel as far as it will go. hold the switch in this forward position and tighten the two bolts to lock it into place. While you are there you may want to take the switch back off an make sure you remembered to reinsert the rod back into the switch in the first place!! If you go through all this and it still doesn't start take the switch back and get them to give you another. I have gotten a faulty new switch on more than one occation.
Sounds like the firmware of your phone has somehow become corrupted. I have seen a few times Nokia phones that, for no apparent reason, start requesting a security code or restriction code and it always turns out to be a firmware issue. You would need to take you phone to a reputable phone engineer or Nokia Service Point for repair.
firmware(Operating system) is damaged . you need to reinstall it . This could occur due to many reasons like virus attack ,sudden removal of the battery while the phone is on,sudden switch off the cell due to low battery etc ..
if you firmware backup you can reinstall it with your normal datacable by using the PC suite or you can contact the technician
I have this camera and it sparked on me back in April and no longer works. I have taken it apart several times in attempts to fix it. If you are still in need I can send you my toggle switch as I'm preparing to trash it.
