SOURCE: Viking refrigerator with bottom freezer always running

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air
check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat. In most newer models the timer has been replaced by an electronic control board. If the heater and thermostat are ok it’ll be the control.

SOURCE: The freezer has quit freezing. The refrigerator

your refrigerator 100% depends on the freezer (unless you have a sub-zero brand fridge, that has 2 compressors). So your fridge will be warm soon too. There is no fuse in the fridge. Try unplugging it for 24 hours and see if that helps, otherwise it's better to call for service.

I have a 220V circuit (1 black wire, 1 white wire, and one green ground wire. The new stark industries pool pump has three terminals plus a ground, There is one terminal for a black wire (terminal A) and...

First, be absolutely sure that your motor is wired for 220v. If it is 110v and you apply 220v the motor will die instantly (after a loud bang). Also verify that your supply is in fact 220v.

Without exception 220v power should be supplied by two wires of the same color, as they are both "hot". Black and white wires are common in 110v wiring, the black being hot and the white neutral.

Every pool pump I have worked on has had two terminals where the wires attach to the motor, L1 and L2, wire orientation does not matter.
Evidently yours only has one. Apparently there is no wiring diagram on the side of the motor either, which is also atypical. Best bet is to call the factory for assistance with this.

Which control panel?
White can be Com, and Black Lo, and Red/Blue Hi
But this is guessing without knowing control panel wiring.

For example T106 timer. Wires can be any color.

High connects to terminal 4
Low connects to terminal 1
Com connects to terminal A

This unit comes with a Four Conductor Cable to hook up power in. How are these four conductors hooked to power?

Disconnect the battery. Connect the green wire to the Negative terminal.Put a 20a fuse inline on the black wire and connect to Negative terminal.Put a 20a fuse inline on the red wire and connect to Positive terminal.
Put a 1a fuse on the yellow wire and connect to ignition switch - if you don't want to use the Ignition Sense feature, connect the yellow wire to Positive terminal.Re-connect the battery and test.

The unit should not need to be pulled out diagnose it.

At the bottom on the rear inside wall of the Freezer can you see any signs of frost build up?
If there is then it is more than likely the defrost terminator

When you open the freezer door can you hear the fan blowing in the freezer?
If not then the Evaporator fan could,be bad and need replacing.

If there is no frost and the fan is running, try turning the unit off and then back on, the power off switch is accessed by removing the center grill of the top grill. There are 2 switchs in this compartment. If you flick the switch and the lights stay on this is the wrong switch, flick it back and find the other switch, power the unit off and then back on. What you should here is first the fans come on followed by the compressor, it will take about 6mins for this to happen. If the compressor is running and you have no cooling then you have a sealed system issue and you ned to get a certified personnel to come and make the repair.

It's usually the defrost heater on this model. Pull rear panel of freezer and remove the heater, (2 screws). It's at bottom of coils. Take to your parts place and they should be able to ohm out for you to see if it's ok. If it's all blackened, probably heater.
A check you can make is to pull refrigerator out to access back. UNPLUG UNIT!
Remove panel over control board on back of fridge. On the blue connector in bottom of board note the defrost terminal as specified on board. Unplug connector and put a jump wire from this terminal on the CONNECTOR, to the terminal that has the wire going to it with no wire next to it. Plug in refrigerator. If defrost heater is good, it should start glowing red within a few minutes. If it doesn't replace it.
