Question about LG 42LC7D-UB Television

The sound cuts out

My lcd is not even a month old and all of a sudden the sound it cutting out at least every 30 seconds or so, its only for a split second but its not right and its annoying.... is it the weather or do you think i need to take it to get looked at?

First of all, if it is under 30 days old I would have it exchnaged instead of repaired. If this is not the case, check to see if your TV isconnected to your cable box or satelitte box using a HDMI connection. if the HDMI connection is being used then connected using the component cables instead and see if that eliminates the problem. The possibility os that you have an HDMI interactivity issue which is not that all uncommon.

Check to see if the surround sound option is turned on, it should be off. If you have a cable box connected it could be the audio cables or the box is bad. Is it a digital ready tv?

Samsung LN-S3251D intermittent sound problem

Try to check the connection from your HD reciever it could be a loose signal from the reciever that why the sounds cut out..

55" approx 5 months old.

The tv have a problems,with the board that call the Tuner signal board.This is the board,where the incomming broadcasting cable wire plug into this board.This a new tv,take it back where u bought it.Exchange it for a new tv replacement.

the power supply of your tv is bad try to check the fuses if fuse are open try to replace them with the same value..try to power it on but if the fuse blows again replace the power supply board...

Lamp inside of your TV set is nearing end of lifespan. Replace it.

New JVC flat screen cuts off 10 sec. after cutting on

1. Hold [menu] and [vol-] button on the side of the TV
2. while holding these, press the [power] button on the side of TV (NOT remote)
3. blue light comes ON and stays ON
4. wait 10 seconds then let go of [menu] and [vol-]
5. wait another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear

You need to have service on the set, the audio portion on the main board is going out
