I had the same problem and I emailed JVC, They were very helpful and had a reply within 2 hrs. Here is the email for you to read. I tried installing on a freshly formatted computer to eliminate the "conflicting software" issue another computer and it worked for me, hope this helps

Error 80004005 is an unspecified error in which any numerous problems could have caused the software to fail. Microsoft uses this error code in an attempt to let the user know a problem occured. It is not specific to Cyberlink.
Possible reasons include:
Firewall or antivirus not letting the software run as designed to.
Conflicts between other software.
Conflicts between hardware.
Virus or Spyware affecting the Cyberlink program
Changes to the registry or the deletion of .DLL's which affect how the program runs.
Try uninstalling Cyberlink and re-installing.
Try installing the software on another PC to see if the same problem occurs.
Check with the DVD burner's website to see if they have any Firmware updates (improves compatibility and stability of your burner)
I would download and run the registry
utility from iobit.com
It
is freeware and works then run CHKDSK/F.
