Re: Coffee Machine

The filter and the holder are actually sort of oval shaped, not perfectly round. It will fit, takes some monkeying around with it. Careful tho, the edges are pretty sharp for my 60-wpm soft hands.

The bottom needle is not able to puncture th K Cup...seems to be bent. What to do?

It sounds like you need the K-Cup holder.

This parts holds the K-cups and has a needle at the bottom.

You can find many replacement parts on eBay.

I have attached a link to one that fits your machine.

Good Luck.

The coffee comes through the machine too fast.

It can be 2 problems: 1Too big granulation of grinded coffee(in this case we have cup filled fast and we have yellow and thin cream or traces of it) Adjust the grinding 2 Filter holders filter(where you put grinded coffee is broken) sometimes it brakes at curves and it is hard to see, wash it and inspect it carefully. if it is broken replace

Coffee machine blocked

it could be grind stuck in the (yes the, as in the only) hole in the filter cup. remove the filter cup from the cup holder (the thing with the black handle) and use the tiny pin in the little brown tool to push out whatever is in there. you may have used to fine a grind or stuffed the filter cup too much. careful, that is how you break the plastic filter holder ring.

for calcifying, i just use plain white vinegar. i put it in straight into the clear water holder, about 3/4 cup, then i run it throuhg a bit, let it sit 5 min, run it through a bit, let it sit 30 min to an hour. depending on the day, i repeat a few times, rinse with clean water. i do this about every 2 months.

have you tried to use the sharp pin and try to dislodge coffee grind from the filter cup? You will need to remove it from the filter holder to gain access.

I broke the peice that puts water through the coffee basket on a Keurig Elite B40 Coffee Maker where can I buy parts for this?

If you are talking about the K-cup holder that punches the bottom of the k-cups, they usually are not for sale, and you can only find them on ersale sites like Ebay.etc...
you could also go buy a "Keurig My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter"
and just use the main grey plastic filter holder... but you will have to puncture the bottom of the k-cups yourself before dropping them into the holder...
You wont need the filter basket or the lid if your using k-cups... just the filter holder...

dont forget to punch a hole in the k-cup first...

My mother decided to make a cup of coffee. She

Make sure the k-cup holder is snapped completely back into place. If the arrows aren't aligned and you don't snap the arrow-side in first, it won't work. If that doesn't do it, check your water reservoir to ensure it is properly seated in it's base. Hope that of luck!

Senseo machine has started producing very weak coffee

I don't know if you've tried this, but it works like gangbusters for me. I use non-senseo pods with the 2-pod holder, and they're too big for the 1-pod holder but not quite big enough for the 2-pod one.

I would frequently end up with a lousy, weak cup of coffee, and after a little investigation I deduced that water was flowing into the pod holder and AROUND the pod, without going THROUGH the pod directly. The name-brand senseo pods fit perfectly, and always produce a strong cup, even if I don't like their coffee, and it's because there's such a tight seal between where water flows in and where it flows out.

Simple solution: Put your pod in with the flat part facing up, and the bulgy part facing down. Press it down hard into the 2-cup holder. Run a little HOT tap water, and lightly wet the surface of the pod--not so much water that the pod starts floating in the holder, but enough to get it soggy. Then make your cup of coffee. The water will flow through the pod first, and kind of like siphoning gas through a hose, once it's started going through the pod it won't stop. Instant awesome cup.

Just bought machine. Filter holder is different from one described in booklet. It talks about the filter holder has been replaced by a spring systems that holds the filter in place. I got the big...

hi m.fleshman! in answer to your question, i paid $25 for mine's like a $25 paperweight. hold the coffee grinds basket up to a light-can you see light thru just one hole, or all of the holes? if just one, this passed quality control at the factory & shouldn't have passed. i imagine that details like this are rampant on this machine. if i had bought mine at the store instead of 2nd hand, i'd take it back for a full refund! otherwise, it may be that someone put the wrong filter in the package. it's also possible that you may need to take out the spring (if it's removable) from the bottom of the filter holder-i don't know b/c i bought mine used. hope this helps!

the filter has a little indent that must be placed correctly, if you put the filter in the holder and then rotate the filter you will feel it click into place when it is in the right position ( there is a gap for the indent at the front of the holder)
