Sony ericsson m600i - screen response problem

Sony ericsson m600i - always worked fine, but suddenly the screen often doesn't respond. And some menus open and close repeatedly by itself.
I suppose it's probably a hardware thing, but am hoping it might not be. Anybody has had this problem?

When did you did firmware update? Use SEUS and get the latest (and final) update. It should work fine then. Had similar problem with my W960i.
