Hi, I'm looking for the right cover for a sharp R-1501. It covers the 4 buttons on the right and is plastic. I'm also looking for the door button and spring. These are white in color. Thanks.

A lot of times these would warp from heat.

All of those parts once came as an assembly, which was formerly part number FPNLCB373MRK0 and then FPNLCB431MRK0 ("zero" on the end, not "oh") but both are now no longer available from suppliers.

If you think you can get by with just a door open button and spring, the part numbers for them are JBTN-B143MRF0A and MSPRTA050WRE0, respectively.

You can order them from Encompass here or you can call them toll-free at 866-779-5835.

Otherwise, the oven would have to be retired.

Kitchenaid microwave model KCMS1555RSS-2 door stuck, does not open

Hi Chan Sing,
If your microwave oven is brand new and under warranty then please take it to the place where you bought it from to claim for warranty.
If it over warranty then try this;
First off the power and unplug the microwave oven, open the screws off the cover and slightly lift and pull out the cover from the microwave oven. If you are not a technician then be care full what you are doing.
After you have removed the cover then you will see that at the place you posh the door eject button, behind it there is the mechanism that opens the door when you push the button from outside.
Now you have to analyse the simple mechanism if you are a non technical person, in here you will have to lift a small plastic up which we can call the lever. this is made up of plastic and it should be white in colour.
If you have any problem please let me know.

Regards
Ashwin

How do i replace smh9207st buttons

If you mean the 4 silver buttons on the lower right of the unit controlling the lite and fan, then see the instructions below...However, if you mean the control panel buttons in the door surrounding the clock display, then you and I are in the same boat. But I digress...

0. UNPLUG THE UNIT
1. Remove the grill atop the unit, 2 phillips screws. Gently slide the grill to the left to unhook it from the unit. This reveals the screw holding the right side cover.
2. Remove the screw holding the cover in place; you can now pull it away from the unit. You must disconnect the wires/plugs from the back. Take a photo for reference. One plug will remain: this belongs to the buttons in question.
3. Set it on a soft cloth to prevent scratching. Remove the screws holding the circuit board in place and the remaining plug; remove the board, then remove the metal tray/box underneath the board.
4. The PCB with the buttons is now visible. There are tabs holding it in place; gently pry them off and the board, a thin plastic shield and the buttons should come free.

Now you can clean/replace the buttons and/or the membrane buttons. Reassemble in reverse.

Cleaning tip: Scrubbing bubbles works great for cleaning icky kitchen grease, although it can leave a film (but it gets the grease!). Follow up with windex (but use a windex-dampened paper towel on plastic to prevent scratching)

The large button that opens the door is not working. When I press the button I can see the light go on in the microwave, but it doesn't raise the level that opens the door?

You may have a broken door open lever.
You will have to take the outer cover off the oven to see the door opening parts.
The service manual (here) will show you how to disassemble it and what the part numbers are.
You can order Sharp parts from Encompass here or call them toll-free at 866-779-5835.

Sharp r520kst door wont stay shut

If the door will not stay closed it is the spring inside door, or the small plastic piece that holds the spring which is attached to the $80.00 piece called outer door.
To fix it, it is EASY and you do not have to even take the inside cover all the way off. Just remove the three sides of cover by gently slipping a plastic putty knife around rim to release the clips. Then attach the spring to the small hole below where the plastic piece used to be, which is located in the metal on the glass frame piece, use tweezers, hold the other end of spring as you place spring onto plastic door latch and set into place!
Snap the inside cover back on and YAY! FINI!

Can not open the door in microwave the release button springs seem to not working can that be fixed. Have opened the release button but cannot see the problem

Do not pry the door open since there is an easier remedy which will lead you in the direction that you need to fix your problem. Take the cover off after you disconnect the power to it. Once you have taken the cover off (only a few screws) you will be able to see the two latches that hold the door closed and the link that opens both of them. You can just lift both latches at the same time and it will open. After you have done that take a good look and press in on the open door button and you will see where you have the problem of the door hanging. That button should push a linkage that pushes up on both latches at once to open the door. It is spring loaded so that it comes back down so that when you close the door it will hold the door close. You need to take the cover off the microwave so that you can pull both of the latches that hold the door closed up. When you push the button in it engages a linkage that pushes both taches up at the same time to open the door. It is springloaded and will come back down during normal operation to hold the door closed when you close it again. That area is where your problem is. By looking at what happens when you press the open door button you should be able to readily see where the problem lies in that linkage

Hi My panasonic microwave nnv672s Inverter has stopped working. It powers on and goes for about 15 secs then stops. when in grill mode it is fine though. what should I do

I had the similar problem with my 667. My model had on the right hand wall a plastic plate covering the microwave emitter, secured by one screw. It is made of plastic so care is needed to remove it. I tried cleaning its surface with a number of methods, but the only one that worked was to take sharp knife edge to the surface ie. literally scrap the baked on material. Care in replacing this plastic shield is advised since it can crack if bent too much.
At first, there was no change in the prior symptoms and it even stopped working altogether. Since the "1" button gets used the most, I tried other numbered buttons and now it seems to be working correctly.
Hope this helps solve your problem.

Sharp R-1510 Start Button Not Working

This may not solve your problem, but on my Sharp R315J microwave, the little plastic pin that pushes forward on the inside of the start button, had broken off and it wouldn't start. The Minute Plus button would start the microwave, so I knew the microwave worked, so I tried to find a piece of plastic that I could glue into the start button hole, because the part doesn't exist and you have to buy the whole door for $100 plus shipping. Nothing I could find was small enough, so I started looking for a new microwave.
While ouside doing lawn work I noticed a small bird tail feather and the end looked to be the perfect size. I snipped off the pointed end and then up about 3/8" to make a little rod to replace the plastic one that broke. It fit perfectly!!! I didn't even have to glue the inside end, it stays put even after repeated door opens. This is sturdy material and looks to last a long time. When it wears out, I have a cat, there's always a few feathers around. I hope this saves someone else a hundred bucks, like it did me.
