Yes there is an option under her internet options. She needs to go to her control panel, then to internet options. Once on the screen for internet options have her go to connections and set it up to go wireless. There are prompts as you go to guide her while setting up. after she has it set up and saves it she should be able to use the internet right away. At times depending on where she is she may have to change wireless connection on her computer but that is very minor.

If you are trying to connect the computer using a wireless connection then -
Then the password proably the wireless router's encryption key (WEP or WPA or WPA2 code). This is part of the wireless configuration.

To connect to your wireless router, it needs the router's wireless settings configured and also needs the wireless cards in all the laptops and or computers to be configured with the router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktop computers can communicate with your wireless router.

Can't connect to the internet through wireless on my daughter's acer laptop

Your daughter's wireless card in her laptop needs to be configured with the router's wireless settings eg. the SSID and encryption key
The encryption key in your wireless router, without this key the wireless router won't allow the laptop to connect to this wireless router.
The WEP, WPA, WPA2 encryption key is in your router's wireless settings. Log into your router and got to the wireless settings, you will need to get the SSID and the encryption key. Then go to your laptop's wireless card and configure it with the router's SSID and encryption key, so it will then connect to the wireless router and the Internet.

Hello,

You would need to purchase a wireless adaptor to add to your daughter's pc. Once installed alone with the drivers/software, you should have no problem getting her connected wireless.

Every time my daughter uses her laptop, my pc says

Either unplug the router from power source for 10 seconds and plug back in to reset.
Or you may have an ip address on the pc itself that is conflicting with your daughter's ip address. Dynamic ip address are set so they don't interfere with each other. We use 4 different pc's on one router in our home.
You can change the ip address of your computer by going to start menu, then run, then type ipconfig /release, then type ipconfig /renew and it will give you a new one.

Or you can access the software and settings of the router itself by opening up an internet page, go to address bar and type 192.168.1.1 and hit enter.
It should bring you inside your router so you can check and switch any settings.

Will not connect another computer

you have to set up the WEP key. Open internet explorer and enter 192.168.0.1 and click on the wireless tab to set up the security key - there you can create a WEP, or WPA key - remember the key so that you cab enter it into the laptop.
