Question about Electrolux Ovens

Open Question

Hello, I have inherited an electrolux oven. I want to clean it - it's very greasy and so it's horribly smokey when I try to use the grill. The grill needs cleaning and so does the roof of the oven. The grill, of course, is just a couple of centimetres from the top of the oven, is made of two tubes - the four ends are set into the back of the top of the oven. Presumably these are connected to electric terminals. Can I remove it for cleaning? If so how? I would be very grateful for your advice. The oven doesn't seem to have a model name written on it. It's a fan oven. The numbers say this: EOB53000X PNC 944 182 817 Typ 91 AHB 01 GD SNo 81891632

SOURCE: The screws holding the grill

Possibly held with self tapping scerws, and hole has enlarged, all you will see are 2 small holes if this is the case, then use larger screws..
If this helps, please leave positive feedback. Thanks

Oven ( with combined grill) is very smokey and smelly

Your oven is one of the most-used appliances in your home, and when you use it for preparing strong-smelling meals, like fish or for curing jerky for instance (I speak from experience on the latter), you can be left with an oven that emits bad smells into the rest of your food for weeks on end. You have a spill in the oven. Wait until the burners are cool to clean them only with warm soapy water (no chemicals) and clean inside the oven. Like a self cleaning oven, it's only at high degrees it will "burn" off the food spills and will cause smoke. Shop Appliances and Furniture for your home from Appliances connection online store.

Top oven/grill. Element has dislodged from the screw connection. Attempted to screww back the element and there seems no thread for the screws to attach to the oven. What are my options?

Hello Michael Clift - I am happy to assist you. First, I will need your model number (and serial number if you have it) to better address the issue at hand. Thank you.

I have an electrolux EOG6330 gas oven and when I light the grill the igniter continues to spark, the only wayto stop it,is to turn the grill off.Any body know what causes it and how to sort it?

Hello dishboy,

There are 2 possibilites causing that

1) The electrode(spark plug) for the grill is is built up with a bunch of grime and not telling the spark module the burner is lit and turn off the spark. The electrode could be cleaned with the green srubby side if a kitchen sponge,or relpaced.

2) The electrode is telling the spark module to turn off but the spark module isn't responding, to turn off the spark. The spark module would need to be replaced

I hope this helps,
