Question about AT&T Blackberry Curve 8300 Smartphone
My phone was working perfectly fine yesterday and did not show any signs of problems. I called my sister, which was my last outgoing call. My mom tried to call me within 5 minutes and ever since then my phone has not been able to make outgoing calls without saying "Call Failed" and no one can call me.....it rings once or goes straight to my voicemail. The only thing different yesterday was that my husband was having problems with his bluetooth earpiece, so I tried to pair it with my phone to see if it would work. But my phone didn't stop working until about 2 hours after I tried that.
There is a possibility that the phone is still recognizing the Bluetooth earpiece and it's interfering with the phone's operation.
Once you pair up two Bluetooth devices, they would remain paired up regardless if the devices are turned ON or OFF. You need to enable the Bluetooth of your BlackBerry and find the way on how to unpair the earpiece.
Once it's unpaired, remove the battery from the phone while the phone is turned ON. Leave it for 5 minutes and then put the battery back and turn the phone back on.
If the problem still occurs, then you might want to contact BlackBerry to check some other settings.
Have a great day!
