You need to delete all your old drives and that by going to device manager and system and go delete all usb drivers that you do not know then shutdown the computer and start again remember you must be admin, when you start the computer it will read all the devices again that you need and forget all the ones that not in use before you do this downloads a good cam driver not the one you had login to the manf. Site and download new one. Make sure that your cam is connected when you start up after deleting the drives and let me know how that worked.
Please see that grant me your approvals by rating my service and I hope that I can serve you again the future.

make sure you plug in the USB in the back of the computer, sometimes the one in the front is not powerful enough to pick up the hardware. If the computer still can't pick up maybe is your usb PCB.

Webcam driver

If you have it still installed on your old computer and still have that computer you may be able to tell what brand and model it is from there. If it's a USB webcam you might need to plug it into the old computer for this.

In the Mac OS your webcam would probably show up on your computer's desktop as it's own icon and tell you what brand it is and possibly model as well.

If you're working in Windows, you should be able to view it from your device manager. Let me know if you're working on a Mac or other OS and need instructions on how to look at the webcam's properties in there. There also may be associated software installed on your old computer that says the brand name and/or model to give you clues.

Often in Windows webcams have software that runs automatically when the computer's on and it's plugged in (sometimes even when it's not plugged in) that also makes a little icon (picture) in the bottom right of a Windows screen, by the time. Hovering over the icons that look like your webcam should allow you to pick the correct one to open and identify what webcam you have.

If you don't still have it installed or don't have access to your old computer, you may be able to recognize it on common webcam sites. Logitech makes popular webcams & their site has pics of their different models so you can get the correct download here: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/downloads/webcams/&cl=us,en

All this is assuming that you tried plugging it in already. If you haven't tried it, you might want to as OS's often come pre-loaded with various device drivers.

Hope that helps! :)
