Question about JVC RX-F10 6.1 Channels Receiver
Hello there,I'm having trouble getting sound through the reciever JVC RX-F10 6.1. I've connected a DVD player to the Reciever and I get picture but no sound. I tried change from analogue to digital, but still no good. I've tried different speakers. I've selected what size speakers are. But still can't get sound. Not sure if there is a problem with the Reciever, this unit is being setup now after being in storage for two years. I've checked all connections more than once and changed speaker cables. Can you please help?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

im thinking the reciever is set to get its audio from somehwere other than the dvd, sounds like you did most of the troubleshooting but do you get audio out of the reciever if its just playing the radio or something other than a dvd?

Here is a link to get your owners/operation manual for the model you indicated. It has two listed, the bottom one is most likely yours.
You will get all the instructions you need to connect your unit properly.
A "FixYa!" rating would be apprecieated, since this all the information you really need.
Let me know if you need more help,

Most times it goes like this:
find your station by manually searching the frequency. When found, press the memory button and in your display the word memory will flash. than press the number you want it stored under and hold it pressed untill the flashing stops.
once station is selected, press the preset number and hold it untill you hear a beep or, if the number flashes on your display, it stops flashing.
often you have the possibility to store aprx 10 presets on 1 band, by seleting the band you get new presets for each band, geeting in total 40 preset possibilities.
Let me know if this solved your problem.

The display bulb is a 14 volt bead style lamp about 0.150 inches wide with wire leads. You'll need to cut the old bulb off the two -pin cable assby and wire the new lamp into the existing wires.
studiossoundelectronics.com should have lamps for that
