SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My Samsung G3 hard drive is looking for a password to be able to back-up my files and I've no idea what it is. I never put in my own password before, so it's weird that it would be asking for a password....

Look over the manual on how to get your password or set up your SafetyKey.

Also look here for the SecretZone

The secretzone allows you to set up user accounts and change passwords.

How do i configure this hard drive for a 'slave' ?

Hello

Ok, you ill be able to see the jumper configuration on the hard drive itself. Here is an example on what the jumper diagram will look like on a hard drive.

Now, all you need to do is to have a look on your hard dive and see where you need to place the jumper for the slave configuration. Here is what a jumper looks like.

After you have done this, you only need to plug the hard drive into your pc.

Hope this can be of help.

Kind regards

Samsung 80gb hard driver looks 30 gb why ?

it may have been partitioned to be 2 seperate drive partitions. When a drive is first formatted, you can cut it up into seperate pieces.
explore your computer and add up your drives and gigs.
If not, then the Bios needs to be manually changed for that drive, but in todays modern computers this is rare.
Thanks,
James
