Check out this YouTube video. The small spring is for the alarm.

    The spring is what makes the alarm work.

Looking fo ra parts break down for the DW-9052 Casio. Was replacing the battery and the spring and a little metal tab fell out. trying to find out where they go.

if its a tiny little spring then those springs you will need to put them in a little hole on top of the movement so they press up against the back of the case when y ou put it on . I am not sure what metal tab you are referring to , but I am pretty sure it is the tab that goes on top of the battery and holds it down.

With the stainless back off you can see the white plastic cover. To the right of the large battery is a small hole (about 1.5mm in diameter). The spring goes in this hole and presses against the piezo sounder disk that is glued to the inside of the stainless back. Make sure you put the back on the right way up - the word CASIO should be at the top, the same end as the word ILLUMINATOR on the front.

Can't remember where the little spring go in the g-shock 300

The used of the spring of your watch is for the speaker connection of the back cover of your watch. Your watch is still working even without the spring but no sound of alarm or whatever sound feature.Just go to watch service center im sure they have spear for the spring if not they can make spring from the watch spring bars.

Hope it may help you;

Model & spring issue with an ol casio G-Shock when replacing batt

This spring is connector to caseback for transmitting sound. Get an eyeglass and find out on movement backplate written SPRING COIL and put it back. If there is no marking SPRING COIL then check for the hole with approx. same diameter as spring (must easy fit in). The hole shoud be empty with contact spot at the bottom. Put the spring in and close the caseback. Check alarm sound. If it works, you did find the right hole- if not, try again till you find the right one.

Good luck

I had the battery in my Casio G Shock DW 6800 replaced. Since then none of the beeps or alarms have worked. Is there a reset button he didn't press?

There is a reset button inside your watch, but I don't think that is the problem. Most likely, there is a spring that makes contact to the watch and the back of your watch case, and it fell out by the person replacing your battery. I would definitely go back to the place where you had the battery installed, and have them take care of the problem buy ordering you a new spring or have them pay for you to send it to Casio.
