I no longer have the driver for my Fuji finipix A345, can i get a download for windows 7?

Consider NOT using a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I do not know how to set the time stamp for my FUJIFILM S1500. The date appears on the display screen when I view the pictures I have taken, but no longer appears once I download them to my computer??

The Fuji FinePix S1000FD camera supports time stamping only when printing pictures via USB with a printer that supports PictBridge. Otherwise, you will need to download the images and use an application such as "Visua Photo Time Stamp."

To print with PictBridge,
  1. Connect the camera to the printer and make sure the printer is on.
  2. Press the right-pointing arrow and hold for a second or until the USB logo is displayed on the camera
  3. Press the DISP/BACK button on the camera
  4. On the menu, select the PRINT WITH DATE option and press MENU/OK.
  5. Press MENU/OK again to start printing.

Fuji s5000. I've owned over 7 years with thousands of photos taken . I love this camera....about a month ago the occasional purple pix started. the lines went away after 45 seconds, then this...

Don't you hate it when this happens? It also sounds as if you already know the LCD, sensor or the shutter have worn out and the cost of repair is no longer economically practical. I'm using a Fuji S100fs for an all a round camera which catches all sorts of uses including time laps. One day I'll be in the same situation you are right now.

Fuji produces wonderful fixed lens cameras loaded with features more then I want or would use but I'd buy another in a heart beat when my S100fs does hit the bricks.

I think also that you answered your own question "my only option" and for that I can only say I'm sorry for your lose.

Best of luck in your search for a "new" friend

I have a fuji fine pix S700 and when i plug the memory card into my computer it won't let me delete photos or arrange the content, it tells me I have to remove the write protection and I don't know how to...

Three cheers for your computer. If you were able to delete photos and arrange the content on the card while it was in your computer, your card would no longer work when you put it back into the camera.

Fuji FinePix vs. Vista. Worked a few weeks ago, not now

It's very hard to troubleshoot software problems online, and it likely is a software issue. But why put up with the headaches of bad software in the first place? Please see the following blog article, as it describes the use of a card reader as a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos. In fact there are several important reasons discussed in the article for using a card reader vice downloading from the camera. USB Card readers are also very inexpensive these day, with cost virtually not an issue:
