What speakers

Hello enot99,

The CC-2502 is a bridgeable 2-channel amp. If you want to drive normal speakers in stereo, the best would be a good set of components with separate woofers, tweeters, and crossovers. They are available in many sizes from most car audio manufacturers. I'd begin by finding out what speakers fit the location where you intend to mount them. Then I'd browse the speaker selections in that size at www.crutchfield.com. You can also use the "outfit my car" feature to browse only the products that fit. Then select a pair that has a power range and impedance to match the amp: 250 watts RMS at 4ohms or 450 watts RMS at 2ohms.

If you want to use the amp in bridged mono mode to drive a subwoofer, again Crutchfield has a large selection of subs and some enclosures already fitted with subs (loaded). The amp claims 850 watts RMS into 4ohms bridged, so look for a sub that has a power handling rating of at least 850 watts and it needs to be 4ohms.

Hope this helps.

Bridging CC-452 or CC-752 amps.

either will work fine, as long as it's a + from one channel and a - from the other.

Concept cc752l how many watts

A easy way to tell how many watts an amp has is to look at the fuses on the amp itself eg. if it has one 10 amp fuse its probably a 100 watt amp, or say a 30 amp fuse would be around 300 watts. Most amps have more than one, so just add up the fuses and times it by 100.

I found this amp and I can't seem to figure out what the wattage is?

You are probably aware on how to use these output figures, but I'll write a quick explanation on the specifications for future readers anyways :)

The concpet CC-452 amplifier has the following power output specifications:

Calculated at 14.5 volts DC;

At 4 ohms per channel - 45 watts x 2 (RMS)
At 2 ohms per channel - 70 watts x 2 (RMS)
At 4 ohms bridged - 150 watts x 1 (RMS)

This means that your amplifier would provide 45 watts of power each for your front speakers, which are normally a 4 ohm load per side (45 watts for left, 45 watts for right), that's unless they are one of those exotic higher end brands (eg: Boston Z6s which are 3 ohms). Rarely, you will find speakers that are rated at 2 ohms per side, but in this instance the amplifier will provide 70 watts of power into each speaker. On your speaker specifications, you will find a value termed "nominal impedance" which will give you the ohm rating of the speakers being used..

On the other hand, if you "bridge" both channels into a single channel (using a diagram often marked on the speaker terminals of the amp), you could then provide 150 watts into a subwoofer (providing it was a 4 ohm woofer).

It's not recommended to use this amp bridged under 4 ohms..

Some subwoofers may be lower than 4 ohms, and you will not be able to use this amplifier for these types of speakers without risking amplifier failure. Also, some subwoofers may have 2 seperate voice coils, and you will have to use both channels of the amplifier seperately (not bridged) in order to correctly connect this type of speaker for use.
