Not sure if a propane conversion kit is available, their website is not cooperating tonight. heres the web address of their tech support: www.desatech.com

and no natural gas does not come in a bottle.

I have a Sears gas range that doesn't burn right. Yellow flames leave the bottom of my pans black. Ther is no fuel/air mixture adjustment. I have changed the gas regulator and LP gas bottle and no change

If this is new or you just got it used and put it in and noticed the problem I am guessing that it is ported for natural gas instead of LP or Propane. The majority of gas ranges are setup to use Natural gas when delivered unless specifically ordered for Propane. If you have had it for a while and it worked fine before then this might not be the problem something else has gone bad like a pressure regulator or a line got bent affecting pressure.
If it is ported for Natural gas and you want to use propane then most companies sell a conversion kit that will make it work right.

Are the propane tanks fitted with a pressure regulator?

The propane gas regulator is one of the most important parts of a propane gas system (or a compressed natural gas system as well).

The purpose of the regulator is to control the flow of gas and lower the pressure from the tank to the appliance(s) in the gas system.

The regulator not only acts as a control regarding the flow and distribution of propane (or CNS) but also as a safety barrier between the high pressure of the tank and the end use appliance(s).

Without it, you can cause serious damage to the appliance's gas valve and create a disaster- fire or explosion.

Just put in a new Caldera LPGas cooktop the flame is yellow and putting soot on pots how can I adjust air to correct this?

you stove may have jets for natural gas rather than bottled gas the calorific value of natural gas is different to propane and the jets are larger because of this. if using bottled gas then you will get yellow flame and soot because there is too much gas to burn properly check your installation manual for procedure to change the jets for each gas

I Need to know whaat type of regulator is need for model ssu320rhl-gb Please

Here is a link to the owners manual and page 8 and 9 tell you about the regulator.

http://www.northerntool.com/downloads/manuals/177883.pdf

You need to a 8-11WC regulator for propane and if you are using natural gas you will want to keep the pressure between 3-10WC

If this is connected to a propane bottle you want o use at least a 100lb bottle.

Thanks

How do you get into the dryer to change the natural gas connector to a propane connection?

Not sure what country you are in, so I am unsure that the same conditions apply.

The gasline from the meter must be interrupted. Propane bottles connection pipe can then be brazed to the copper line . By law a propane regulator must be fitted between the bottle and the gqas line going to the dryer.

This must be fitted by a licensed gas fitter ( plumber) so if any problems occur your insurance will pay out on fire or other faults.

Placing the propane bottle line directly to the dryer without a regulator and inside a building is dangerous and unlawful, as most dryers are not vented correctly to deal with propane.

Is there any difference in bottle gas heater and natural gas heater

by bottle i am assuming you mean propane. yes there is a difference , natural gas is mostly methane gas (ch4) a very small molecule, propane is (c3h8) a much larger molecule. so they require different gas nozzles and cannot run a unit on the other fuel, some can be converted to run other gas. generally natural gas units are cheaper to run, but cost more for installation as a gas line has to be run to the unit and benefit of not running out of fuel. hope this helps.

Jet size differnce from natural gas to bottled

You will need more then new orifices to convert from natural gas to propane. The gas valve will also need to be replaced. Not a good idea converting heater.

Convert to LP (propane)

Contact Miele directly via their website. This would require an orifice change if it is possible for this appliance. Since natural gas, butane, and propane are all forms of LP (Liquified Petroleum), it is usually, but not always, possible.
