Problem for Vizio GV42L 42 in. LCD Television

I'm house and pet sitting at a friends' house who have a large screen Vizio TV and DirecTV.

Right now, the TV is set on HDMI, but there's a floating message on a black screen: ''No Signal!''

This afternoon the TV's picture was ''pixelating'' so I called the DirecTV folks. After doing a little trouble shooting, the rep said he didn't have any other ideas and I'd have to get a rep to come to the house. Since I'm not authorized to do that, I'm wondering if anyone can help me get this back up and running?

You need to make sure that is has enough signal, if you have poor signal, you will get pixels(as oppesed to snowy picture on CRT televisions) make sure all plugs are plugged in correct, and try diff inputs from DirecTV to the Tv to ensure its not the HDMI input thats faulty. Good Luck.
