GE Monogram -- Ice freezes IN THE CHUTE and blocks the chute

The ice cubes form properly and are separate cubes in the bin. But when they go into the chute they apparently melt and refreeze, sticking together IN THE CHUTE and clogging the chute. The answer of "too much water going into it" sounds like maybe the answerer thought the ice cubes were freezing together in the bin and wouldn't enter the chute?

Anyway, this is a new problem ... 'fridge not moved, no adjustments recently made, just suddenly started happening.
