Fujifilm A700 software won't install on my PC

Hello, I bought a brand new Fujifilm FinePix A700 digital camera and the software will not install on my windows XP computer. Everytime I put the CD-ROM in my drive it does not do anything at all. My computer tells me to "Please insert disk" when in fact the cd-rom is already in my computer's cd-rom drive. I checked to see if my computer would read other unrelated disks and it does with no problems. For some reason it does not read or even acknowledge my A700 software disk has been inserted into the drive. Can you please tell me what I need to do to get the A700 software onto my hardrive.
