Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
Double check the connection. Once you are sure that the cable is properly connected and the cable itself is not damaged, you may need to switch the output on your portable PC, assuming that is what you are using, based on the icon. If it is a notebook PC, they often have a switching hotkey command that is used to switch output of video between internal display and external displays. Try that... Also, make sure that the external display is capable of displaying the resolution your PC is sending, as this can also cause it not to work.
