Question about Mitsubishi WS-55513 55" Rear Projection HDTV

TV is Mitsubishi 65" Model #WS65813, Serial #NWPROJ4K-5 (Diamond Series).

Hi there, I have a friend and he has a problem with the tv mention above, and he needs replace: CONTROL PCB Part # 935D736001, I like to know where I can find this part and how difficult is to replace it and how much it will cost (part and labor). I'll be very thankful for your help.

That particular board is NLA - - - the only way to have it repaired besides a local shop is to send it in to PTS Electronics for rebuild but I'd call them first and make sure they support it.. That's from a V23 chassis and that particular board was used in many PTVs in the Mits line-up.

I currently am experiencing my 2002 Mitsubishi diamond series tv shuttin g of after being on for 3-5 minutes

Sounds like you have a cooling issue. Do you notice if the fans inside the back of the tv are running? If not then it's overheating and turning itself off to prevent further damage.
Also The next time it happens, before you just turn it back on, press the INPUT and MENU buttons on the front panel together and hold them down for at least 6 seconds. This should cause the front LED to flash a 2 digit code. If it flashes once, then twice, then pauses and repeats, it means that the TV's computer didn't detect a problem.

The WS65813 is the V23++ series. The blinking led means the DM caps have failed you can get the V23 DM repair kit at the following link which contains the replacement capacitors and step by step instructions with pictures so you can do the repair. The television remote controll is broke.

Mitsubishi WS65813 Rear Projection TV. Main power board is bad,

they are no longer available from mitsubishi or the distributors. You may be able to get the board remanufactured at the following link. Just leave them a email with the part number.
