The toolbars are normally getting information of your surf on the internet. Many toolbars for your browser are already infected with a virus (I did get a virus throu a toolbar) when you install them, this can leave your computer open for hackers. If you use a safe toolbar like google and Live toolbar then it is safe, but other toolbars like them you install when you install a screensaver are many times infected with a virus :O/

IF it is your own internet site you have made, I suggest you chance your password and see if it still happend. IF it do that please contact your site provider and tell them about the problem, it can bee dangerous let other in on your internet site, they can leave virus codes on your toolbar and other places. :O/

Hope that helps
IF not then return here

Facebook seems to lock up my WRT54G Router

I don't thing it's your Linksys, it's your computer. I would suspect a Virus or malware. Run a Full Anti Virus Scan with your Up-To-Date Anti Virus software. Download freeware MALWAREBYTES at : http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/ In the install, UNCHECK the TRIAL PRO version, you want the freeware version. Run a FULL SCAN, DELETE ALL RESULTS, Reboot. If you must , Do this in safe mode. Use freeware CCLEANER at : http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ TO clean the junk from your machine. In the TOOLS section, STARTUP section, disable ALL unnessary startup programs. Remove ALL TOOLBARS, they are killers on broswer speed. Open Control Panel, Internet Options, Manage Add ons, Toolbars and Extentions, disable ALL toolbars or remove. In Search Providers, remove ALL but Google or what ever Search provider you use. If you don't have Google Chrome, download and use It's faster than IE.

Why did you do this page ?

If your running LINUX and browsing using Firefox

then follow this guide

The firefox extension for facebook is a wonderful thing. Once you have installed it and logged in, it will tell you when you get poked, get friend requests, or get messages.
s.jpg This is what the toolbar looks like before logging in. You can tweak the look of the toolbar so that it shows (or hides) certain things. Also, the toolbar will popup a brief window in the corner of the screen when someone changes their status, has new wall posts, etc. All in all, a useful extension.
After much trial and error, I discovered what I needed to do to fix the problem with the toolbar getting "stuck".
  1. Shutdown firefox
  2. Go into your mozilla preferences directory. On linux, this is something like ~/.mozilla/firefox/default.3ra/ (the last directory is likely to be named something different).
  3. Edit the localstore.rdf file.
  4. Delete the RDF description for the facebook-toolbar. Search for and delete the following. It will be on 2 lines in the file, but I've broken it up here so that you can see it: <rdf : Description RDF:about="chrome://browser/content/
    browser.xul#facebook-toolbar"
    currentset="facebook-sidebar-toggle,separator,facebook-link-menu,
    separator,facebook-notification-poke,facebook-notification-reqs,
    facebook-notification-msgs,facebook-notification-separator,
    facebook-share,spring,facebook-login-info" />
Once you've deleted that section and saved the file, you should be able to restart firefox, log into the facebook toolbar, and be in good shape. Hope this helps someone out there!

How do I delete a program and icons from my tool bar? Sometimes when I turn off the computer, it says that "others are logged in to this computer..." What does this mean?

Do you mean programs from your IE browser toolbar.?
If you do then to remove them you right click on the toolbar and untick the program you dont want.
To remove it completely you need to go to the control panel on your pc and to add/remove programs and uninstall.

Others logged on..
If someone else has a user profile, and is using your computer. If they dont LOG OUT, but just LOG OFF (or switch user) , then that session is still in memory and the programs they may have been using are still running.
If you try to switch your computer off without everyone LOGGING OUT completely, you could loose any open files, or damage any open programs.

When I log out from yahoo mail it does not allow me to log in agian and I have to switch off my computer and switch it on again

I don't know why the problem of not being able to log into Yahoo email accounts exists, but you're not alone. If you know that the problem is not you entering an incorrect user name or password, there is a work-around to get into Yahoo mail. And, it takes less than 5 minutes to set it all up.

Every time I've recommended this solution to someone for their Yahoo Mail problem, it's worked.

The easiest way to sign into your Yahoo email account is to use Firefox as your browser and download the Webmail notifier add-on for Firefox.

With the click of a mouse, you'll be sent directly to your Yahoo email page without having to manually sign in to Yahoo.

Click here for Firefox download: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4490

To add Webmail Notifier it to your Firefox toolbar click here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4490

1) After downloading and re-starting Firefox, right click in an empty area on your TOP toolbar in Firefox and select, 'Customize.' (A window with icons will open.)

2) Locate and drag the envelope icon to your upper toolbar and click, 'Done'.

3) Once the envelope is seated on the toolbar, right click on the envelope icon and choose, 'Options'. (A window will open.)

4) Select, Yahoo from the drop down menu.

5) Type in your full email address in the 'User Name' box.

6) Type in your Yahoo mail password in the password box.

7) Click, 'Add'

8) Make sure 'Enable Login' is checked that the bottom.

9) Click, OK.

Now, when you want to go to your Yahoo email just click on the little envelope icon and you'll be sent straight to your email page in Yahoo.

- I forgot to add, the envelope will be gray when you don't have any unread emails, but turns yellow when you do.

If you found this information helpful, please give me a big thumbs-up when you rate my answer. Thanks!

Forgot my user password andcannot log on,how can i reset ?no disc

what OS are you using? XP Home or Pro? Vista? do you normally login with a username or login as "Administrator"?
You can try booting to safe mode by hitting f8 during the bootup process, choose safe mode and login as administrator without a password. If you still cannot get in that way, then you will need to use a program to reset the admin or user passwords. check this page:
http://www.petri.co.il/forgot_administrator_password.htm for instructions, but understand that there is a risk of corrupting data or filesystem when messing with these kinds of tools. Get a geek friend to help you if you're not sure what you're doing.
