It might be that your stat plot isn't set up right. when you hit second "y=" you should see under plot 1... Off L1 and L2. well you need to go to stat edit and see if they line up with the list you have. I hope this is what your talking about. sorry if i didn't help at all

GRAPHING PROBLEM! I HAVE A MIDTERM TOMORROW AND I NED IT TO WORK!

make sure all plots are off.  to do this, 2nd-Y=.  Highlight selection 4 (PlotsOff), and press enter twice.  It should say Done.
Next, press the ZOOM button, and select number 6 (ZStandard).  This will restore your window settings to default.
If those fail, press 2nd-+ to bring up the Memory menu.  Press 7 (Reset), and select Default.  This will not delete anything, it will just restore your settings.

Just passing by, make sure you aren't zoomed in or panned away from the axis when you look. Check to see if there is some way you could be referencing a matrix. I can pull up a similar error by trying to pull a value out of a non-existant slot. I got my first TI 2 days ago, so I probably don't know as much as you.
