Question about Frigidaire 24 in. PLD2850 Built-in Dishwasher
The most common problem with dishwashers, and especially frigidaire/electrolux units is this; Do it yourselfers or even so called Pro-installers remove the loop that was intentionally secured to the outside of the tub (usually to gain "extra" drain line, however not ALL units use this method...frigidaire DOES) hence allowing water to flow back into the unit after the darin pump has stopped. The "loop" is there to prevent this (minor back flow) from happening. you can easily remove the unit and resecure this loop along the side and add some hose to the end of the line if needed, but the loop should be present. (it can also cause pre-mature drain pump failure over time, depending on pumping distance and volume needed to pump thru line)
hope that helps
