It turns out that the inlet vent in most dryers is louvered to mix in some outside air with the air being heated by the gas (~ 500 degrees F). In an effort to be more efficient, Electrolux removed these louvers and have not been able to lower the heat enough in their gas dryers to keep from burning clothes. Furthermore, it turns out there is a *new part* which if you're in-the-know you can order. It is the same part, but with the louvers back.

Testimonial: "Thanks for the advice. Yesterday a technician came, said the same thing, took the cover off, spun the cylinder and it worked. Must have been blocked"
There are only two possibilities why this happens. First is a faulty
control board and second is a fault in the heating circuit and there's
one simple way to determine which is which; that is disabling the
heating element by disconnecting the safety thermostat.
Start by unplugging the dryer then remove the two screws securing the to panel to the rear of the dryer as shown and lift the panel off.
Once the top panel is removed, locate the safety thermostat on the heater housing at the rear of the drum with black and red wires. Refer to the illustration for the location of the safety thermostat.
Disconnect the wires from the safety thermostat terminals and properly insulate the connectors with an electrical tape. Do not tape them together.
Once the wires are insulated, plug the dryer back in and run it in heat setting mode. Check the heating element coils for any part touching the housing if the dryer does not shut off. Otherwise, replace the electronic control board which is part number 34523200.

Jan 21, 2016 | Electrolux EIMED60LT Front Load Electric...
Good Morning friend, thank you for your post!
From my understanding your Electrolux washer is not starting no matter what buttons are pushed. This could be a possible problem with your keypad or control panel. I noticed that you have already performed a reset and that was done when you unplugged your washer for 15 minutes. I would now recommend having a technician out to perform a diagnosis. In order to do so you would need to disassemble your washer and test each component to make sure they are working properly. The technician would have the appropriate tools needed to do this accurately. If you need some assistance locating a technician you should be able to visit the manufacturer's website for additional assistance. I hope this information is helpful for you. -Matt
