a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Windows 7 on dell xps m1710 - problem with cpu performance. according to device manager the drivers are in correctly. but i can see in windows performance information, it is very poor rating compared to...

CPU does not need a driver. the 'driver' is nothing more than a way to identify the CPU. (ie model, stepping, etc). I would suggest ignoring windows and run a Dell diagnostic. if the hardware checks out ok, then its a programming issue. It could also be a BIOS issue. Check the BIOS to make sure CPU cache is enabled, and everything is set for high performance. If your machine is under warranty, CALL DELL and have it serviced or replaced.

How can i turn on wireless for Dell M1210?

For that first turn on the wi fi switch on laptop.
Then right click on my netowrk places then make sure your wi fi adpater is there enable it then right click on it then click on biewe available networks.
If it not show netowrk then you have to enable wireless in router.
For that first connect wi fi router to computer then access it with following link.

or
http://192.168.0.1
Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"
then go to wireless and enable it .
Then save settings and restart router then check.
Make sure wi fi driver is installed in laptop.
Let me know if you need more assistance.

Connecting wireless router to laptop computer

Try changing the channel on the router. It would be better to isolate the problem first by trying to connect to other wireless networks on your laptop or having someone's laptop connect to your home wireless network.
