Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

My french door freezer side water is dripping collect in the bottom of the freezer. its frozen solid and then melts and drips out the front of freezer onto the floor making a puddle of water

Your drainage hole is blocked.. empty the bottom half of the fridge and freezer .. you will see a V shaped moulding in the back panel INSIDE each compartment.. smack bag in the middle is a hole that allows the condensate to run away, but sometimes a pea or other obstruction clogs it, so the water cannot run away, but is held back.. where it refreezes, blocking the tube further, and causing the next cycle to run the water into the bottom of the appliance, where it refreezes.. but later thaws and floods.... I suggest you pull out the appliance so you can check the drainage tube(s) by eye.. use a chopstick, and if you can find a cheap shop selling 'bottle brushes' about the width of your little finger, push that up and down it a few times to properly clean it..

Ice buildup in bottom of freezer--puddle of water on floor

this sounds like your freezer is operating properly, except that the drainage of the water when going through the defrosting mode is not draining properly, pooling on the bottom of the freezer and then freezing. Check the drainage hose for the defrost in the lower pan. I would remove everything, place in ice chest, let the unit completely thaw out and then inspect. I hope this is beneficial.

Doewoo no frost fridge freezer is working fine except that we keep getting puddles of water under the freezer door. any ideas. had about 4 years now

probably a blocked drain outlet or pipe. At the bottom rear of the unit, mine had a drain pipe blocked with a plug of mould (5/6 years old machine), apparently quite common. I detached the pipe and cleaned it out and replaced it.
From inside the freezer, I removed the lower back panel and thawed the ice build up on the drainage tray below the defrost heating element, leading to the pipe outside. The puddles of water that was appearing every defrost cycle have now stopped - permanently I hope. Hope this helps you

Model #GSH25JSTCSS---Not getting any water from the water dispenser but still have ice coming out---What's the problem?

I have this same model and problem. The water line may be frozen inside the freezer door. (the line enters at the bottom hinge area of the freezer door)

Shut the unit off and leave the freezer door open ( you will need to remove your stuff you want to save first)

Next disconnect the line coming out of the Freezer door near the bottom hinge (should be a quick disconnect coupler, you will need to remove the front air grill assy to allow access to the line/coupler) and lay the line out on the floor.

After thawing the water should run out the line leaving a small puddle on the floor. Reconnect the line, plug the unit back in and test your dispenser.

Although this method restored my water dispenser to working condition, other possible causes for this include the line freezing up in the refridgerator section, bad water valve, bad relay on the motherboard, that triggers the water valve, bad motherboard. Hope this helps.

Sometimes the next morning after I have washed a load of clothes that evening, even though at night there is no water in the bottom of the machine, the next morning there is a small puddle in the bottom. ...

i think the drainage of your washing machine, is not functioning well,or it has a leak, that's why some water remain in the bottom of your machine..

There is a puddle of water inside the refrigerator, beneath the vegetable bins.

How many items are in your freezer? I had this problem and there was too much in the freezer, not allowing the air to circulate properly in the freezer, thus resulting in freeze up in the top (freezer) and condensation below in refrigerator section. Additionally, I had the refrigerator setting too cold, which accelerated the problem. I had to thaw the drain hole in the freezer section, below the fan, to allow water to leave freezer during defrosting stage. Hope this helps?

GE GSD2200G02CC dishwasher

Your dishwasher probably has rotating blades on the top and bottom that spray water on the dishes.  Clean these off and make sure the holes are not clogged.
