Was there a wiring schematic with the new clock?
Have you checked the thermal fuse?
Check it and let me know.

I used the oven in the house we just purchased (a GE wall oven JTP18 and after I turned it off a fan kept running. Is that normal?

Yes, the program and thermostat calls for the fan to cool the electronics, without that you can loose the electronic boards. Normally the fans will shut off once temps drop to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Enjoy your new home.

Ge profile convection oven giving error code F7. What parts do I need

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F7 means that the function pad button is stuck or the clock has gone bad. If you are unable to unstick the button then to resolve this issue you’ll have to replace the electronic range control. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Dead trivection oven by ge JT9300h1ss

This model has issues with the power input controller board, usually caused by surge following a power failure... board is $285 from GE plus $90 or so to install after paying a $100 service call. Replacment part is special ordered and generally takes a week or so.... have 2 of these ovens... ask me how I know.... LOL

F7 error

Hi there,
Well, F7 error code occures due to
A = Function pad button stuck or
B = Bad clock Unstick button or
Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC)

Replace the ERC there are ten screws 3 on each side and 4 on the control leave the hex screws alone all you need is a phillip screwdriver.
REMEMBER TO SHUT OFF THE POWER FIRST lift and fold out the control panel remove the ribbon cable and remove the four screws that hold the control board . replace control panel in reverse order.

Good Luck!!
Have a nice Day!!
