Question about Washing Machines
I have a Hoover 550MB washing machine. When my clothes are finished washing they come out with white stuff on them. I think it's from the washing powder. My mum told me to not sprinkle the washing powder directly onto the clothes but to put it down the middle bit of the washing machine. Is this true? How do I stop the white marks on my clothes?
Are you using TOO much powder? And is the machine set to the correct rinse tempature? You mention white stuff, does it look like undissolved washing powder? Or fabric softner? Possibly try liquid detergent and see if the problem continues. And follow the recommended amounts of detergent for each wash load, and the tempature settings. And of course the water levels. All of the above are crucial to insure you get maximum preformance and utility out of your machine, with the results you expect. Let us know what you find. Kindest Regards, Slats.
