The carb will be either a walbaro or Zama carb. Take the carb to your local power equipment shop and they shoud be able to provide you with a carb kit

EASY - PULL THE CARB OFF AND CLEAN. LOOK ON THE MAIN BODY OF THE CARB YOU SHOULD SEE NUMBERS AND LETTERS. MOST BARBS ARE MADE BY ANOTHER COMPANY. THE CARB MIGHT HAVE A NAME OR JUST LETTERS FOR THE MANUFACTURER ALSO A 3 OR 4 BUMBER SOME WHERE ON THE CARB GO ONLINE AND TYPE THE LETTERS IN AND SEE IF YOU CAN BRING UP THE INFO YOU NEED. Any small engine shop should be able to get you a new carb with your serial # and model #.
Buy a new carb.....don't rebuild the old one.

Is it a carb you need?
Is the engine compression good and crankshaft seals and bearings tight?

Sometimes....if you have a few years use on your trimmer....it's more cost effective to buy a new one.

Why my s430 will run and idle but dies as soon as squeeze the trigger even if I do it slow? The primmer bulb was bad so I changed that but still does the same thing?

Carb is in need or a cleaning and rebuild. I would suspect the diaphragm is bad. You can get a rebuild kit with all the gaskets for most carbs for around $10. There are some that gaskets are not available for and you would need to replace the entire carb. Carbs run from $15 to $30.

When i pull the cord to start it gas is spraying out the exhaust. What is the problem

The problem is the needle valve inside the carb is stuck open causing fuel to fill the cylinder. This why gas is coming out of the muffler. You have to rebuild the carb but you have to determine if you have a walboro or zama style carb in order to get the right rebuild kit. make sure you get the full rebuild kit that comes with a new needle valve and adjust the needle valve so that its flush with the slot that it fits in. Also remove the spark plug and pull the starter until all the fuel is out of the cylinder.

How to remove the carburator from the Ryobi SS30 weed eater, model number RY30240, to overhaul? The weed eater starts find, but when you...

It may just need a G & D kit installed. That is a gasket and diaghragm. Just take the 4 Torx screws out of the rear cover and remove it. You will then be looking at the choke plate assembly which has 2 long screws that go through the housing of the carb and screw into the rear crankcase cover/reed valve assembly. Pull the 2 fuel lines off (noting where they went) and you'll have it. Once you have the carb off, you can get the manufacturer and model # off of it and order a kit. The G&D kit will probably fix what ails it or you can go for a complete rebuild and get a rebuild kit. If the carb is a Zama or Walbro, they sell the kits on Ebay.If the carb has brittle diaghrams inside, replace them; if they are still soft and pliable, then you may only need to clean the carb real well and adjust the H and L mixture screws. They will be plainly marked, but are difficult to remove. Post back for more help!

(mightylite 26cc curved shaft] gas not going into primer bulb was working great, when you push down bulb you can see it bubble in tank emptied tank it is clean no tear in bulb no holes in lines they appear...

Check the length of you fuel lines, make sure theyre long enough, check filter inside tank to make sure its clean,if all that checks out you probably need to rebuild the carb. Get the proper rebuild kit you need for the carb and replace the gaskets and diaphrams needle and seat valve ect. I use chemtool carb cleaner, works great. Before rebuild take carb apart needle and seat valve out spray cleaner thoughroly through all holes and blow out with air gun, then install new kit. This should set you back no more than $5.00

I have a weed eater blower bv1085, It just stopped. I have changed the fuel filter, air filter and plug but it still will not start any suggestions

Put a spark tester on it see if you have spark,if not.its your coil, would probably be cheaper to buy blower at yard sale than buy a coil. If tou do have spark order a rebuild kit for your carb. When you take the carb off and clean it,look real close, there will be a number on the carb, you need that number to order the right kit,all carbs on weedeater brand equip. are like that.

After rebuild only runs on half choke.Adjusting screw doesn't help

The rebuild you did is correct, but did you clean the small ports in the carb.? I use a Den Tek Brush (used for cleaning teeth). They work great for this job. You may also want to check the small screen in the carb. The smallest of particles can cause this problem.

No Gas to Primer Bulb

It sounds like the carburetor needs cleaned. Take the carb. apart and clean it with carb. cleaner. Use a Den Tech Brush, (used for cleaning teeth), they are perfect for cleaning the small ports in carb. If that still doesn't work, you may need to buy a carb. kit for your weed eater. If so, replace the gaskets and valve needle, and also make sure to replace the small screen. this should all come in the new carb. kit.
