Enter the SP mode by hitting the CLEAR MODE key, 1 0 7 then hold the CLEAR STOP key. When SP mode is selected , "1" blinks. Then enter SP 6-101-0 by hitting 6 then the . (dot) key, the 101 then the . (dot) key then the 0 key then the . (dot) key. This will tell the copier that NO sorter is intsalled. Hit the CLEAR MODE key 3 times or turn the machine off/on.

The ricoh copier ft5832 lift that raise the paper plate in tray 1 & 2 are no more working; how can i get it replacement or get repaired? Thanks

Hello; if you have tray 3 and it working fine, then exchange with tray 1, if working that's mean the senser actuactor on the tray 1 is broken replace it, otherwise that's lifting motor defect, replace lifting motor.

E6 error On a Ricoh ft4022 copied paper doesn't throughly comes out

It can be some of this because you give us only the firs digit you should press "." for to see the two other digits which can be as follow:

E620 Main board – ARDF communication error
E621 Main board – Sorter communication error
E623 Main board – Paper tray unit communication error

For start you can see do the sorter or the ADF are good connected
It has two cables one is white and other is black see do they are good connected or it can be broken on some place of the cable, special the black because is optical cable.
also see do the paper tray is good entered in the machine if all this up mentioned are good then is a problem with the main board

Hi, I am receiving an E-4 error message on my FT5832 copier. I have tried shutting off and restarting the copier a few times, and this hasn't fixed the probem,. Please advise. Thanks!

if you are not a technician here you cannot do nothing because the problem is around the main motor.
The main motor may be loced or some gears in the drum unit are broken.
This problem can solve only official ricoh technician.
But this is a old machine so if need to be replaced the motor is better to not do that because for those many you will by some new machine.
I advice to call a service because if you want to operate your self you may damage something and from nothing to became a large scale problem
